Is Flock better than Firefox or Google Chrome?

Have you tried Flock? Is it worth downloading?

idiologic 		I tried Flock when it was based on Firefox and have to say that I prefer that a LOT more than where it is now. Flock based on Chromium just doesn't have the same oomph as it used to. I can accomplish the same exact things with Opera Widgets or even separate standalone applications. Flock is, in a word, unnecessary.

Grinsekatze 		Yes I've tried it I evan still have it(probably an old version) on my computer, but I didn't think it was very usefull, because I started missing a lot of things from Opera, so I left it^^

wolf 		Flock is basically Firefox with more extensions or add-ons mainly designed for social networking. Unless you're a social freak, don't download it. I'd go with the original Firefox or Chrome.

rdb 		Primarily Flock was based on Firefox, with some preloaded social networking plug in. From its latest v3 beta it ditches gecko engine and moves to chromium engine.

Basically Flock is nothing but a Firefox browser, with some skin and some plug in - which you may find useless or gibberish.

So better use Chrome/Firefox, and add extensions as you require!
